Today's trek is a brisk one, as the Dawn Patrol rambles through Pimmit Hills and return via Lewinsville. Inflatable Halloween decorations lie flaccid on front lawns, though a few projectors still cast images of witches and spiders. An all-woman crew of highway workers puts up CAUTION signs along Great Falls Street. Bunny count = 0: apparently creatures great and small are too smart to emerge so early on a chilly morning.
